Yes. Depending on your project, we can provide cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardware, flooring, lighting, and other finish materials. Following our initial meeting, we provide a preliminary material budget range based on the project scope, the size and caliber of your home, and your desired level of finishes. Design services are priced separately. Throughout the design process, we help guide selections with your overall budget in mind. Once the final design and material selections are approved, we provide detailed pricing for the materials purchased through Desert & Pine Design.

Absolutely. We provide your contractor with the relevant design details and remain available to answer design-related questions. We collaborate with the contractor while they remain responsible for permitting, scheduling, construction methods, and jobsite management.

Desert & Pine Design does not offer construction or installation services. However, we work regularly with several trusted, licensed contractors and specialty installers whom we are happy to recommend. We can also collaborate with a contractor you have already selected. You are responsible for selecting and contracting directly with an appropriately licensed and insured contractor and any specialty installers.

Yes. Installation support can be included to help answer design-related questions, clarify selections, and address concerns involving materials purchased through us. The amount of support and any included site visits will be defined in your proposal.

Most kitchen and bathroom designs take approximately 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the scope of the project, the number of spaces, and how quickly selections and design decisions are approved. Material ordering and construction timelines are separate.

Design fees are based on the size, complexity, and services required for your project. After the initial consultation, we provide a design proposal outlining the scope, fee, and anticipated deliverables, along with a preliminary budget range for finish materials. Detailed material pricing is provided after the design and selections are finalized. Construction, installation and related services are priced separately by your contractor.

We may also provide material specifications, design documentation, pricing, ordering coordination, and design support during installation. Your proposal will outline the services included for your specific project.

As soon as you decide you are ready to move forward. Design should be one of the first steps because reconfiguration of your layout, relocation of plumbing, electrical, or other mechanical systems, finish-material installation details, and other project requirements all help define the construction scope. Completing the design before obtaining final contractor pricing provides a clearer basis for accurate material and construction costs—and helps prevent costly changes and delays later.
